Clinical Approach

My approach in counseling begins with building a strong relationship with my client. This is an important aspect of counseling. It begins by listening carefully to my client's perspectives and together setting our goals for therapy. One’s family system, culture, relationships and experiences should also be considered when creating a workable treatment plan.

It is my ultimate goal to help my clients develop tools for themselves that can be utilized outside of therapy for years to come. My treatment approach focuses on Collaborative Problem Solving, Cognitive Behavioral, Family Systems and Solution Focused therapy.
